How far from the Bob Hope Airport (BUR) is VSP and when should I arrive?

VSP is literally right across the street from the Bob Hope Airport, which is about a 2 minute shuttle ride. We request arrival at VSP only 5 minutes before you are required to arrive at the airport for your flight as our shuttles run every 3 minutes. Most airlines suggest you arrive at the airport 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. If in doubt, check with your airline.

How often do VSP shuttle vans run to the Airport?

VSP shuttles run to the Airport every 3 minutes or on demand.

I’ve arrived back into Burbank (BUR) from my trip, how do I get back to my car?

When you arrive back into Burbank, please return to the tram stop labeled “OFF AIRPORT PARKING SHUTTLES” where we dropped you off. We only have 1 tram stop, and it is located 2 islands out from the terminals, directly in front of terminal B. If there is not a VSP shuttle already waiting there, please call us at (818) 842-5702, and let the answering attendant know that you need a shuttle. Within a couple of minutes a shuttle will pull up, the driver will load your bags on to the shuttle if you desire, and will return you to VSP.

What are VSP’s hours of operation?

VSP is open 365 days a year. We open everyday at 5 A.M. and close at 11:00 P.M. If any flight landing at the Bob Hope Airport is delayed past midnight, VSP will stay open an additional 30 minutes after the flight has landed into the Burbank Airport ONLY. You may call us at (818) 842-9338 to make us aware, so we can be here when you land. Unfortunately we are not alerted when flights are diverted to other airports, so if this is the case, please call us to find out how late we will be open, and if other arrangements can be made. There is NO ACCESS to the Parking Lot after hours.

What if I have a dead battery or flat tire upon my return?

Unfortunately due to Insurance and State regulations, VSP is no longer allowed to provide battery jump-starts or air to fill your tires. You may call AAA, a tow service (Request small Tow Truck if parking in Covered or Rooftop), or someone to help you. We will allow all into the facility to assist you.

How long can I leave my vehicle at VSP?

You can leave your vehicle as long as you wish. However, if you plan to leave your vehicle for longer than 30 days, you will need to make arrangements with us in advance, so we would not need to report as possible stolen or abandoned vehicle to the proper authorities.

How safe is the VSP facility?

We have staff on duty from 5 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. every day, along with video surveillance cameras and a security gate with monitored access. From 11:00 P.M. to 5 A.M., our lot is securely locked with preventative wire on the top of our fencing/walls surrounding the perimeter of our property. Of course, we are a Park and Lock facility and we are not responsible for Fire, Theft or Damage…..Please LOCK you car.

Does VSP have a frequent parking club?

We currently have discontinued the CLUB program. Current Members plans will be honored through expiration. We hope to offer this service again in the future.

Does VSP offer discounted rates to corporate accounts?

We offer CLUB VSP memberships for 1 individual or 1 individual plus their spouse only. We do not offer a corporate membership. Currently this membership entitles you to a discount of $2/Day off Daily Maximum rates. Please click on our CLUB VSP link to learn more.

Does VSP have a lost and found?

Can I park vans, trucks and oversized vehicles at VSP?

Occasionally we can accommodate vehicles that are oversized in our surface parking area. There may be an additional fee depending on whether extra parking spaces are required to fit the vehicle.  RV’s, trailers, Box Trucks, and Large Work Trucks are not allow

Regular daily Rooftop rates are $20/day, daily Outside Surface parking rates are $22/day, and daily Covered rates are $27/day. Partial days are charged by the hour (or fraction thereof) until the daily maximum is reached up to 24 hours then a new “day” starts.
